Our Services

There are 3 services that J Ricketts Bookkeeping offers and they all center around Quickbooks Online. I like to use a flat fee pricing structure so that business owners are not writing a blank check each - you should know exactly how much your expenses are if you want to scale and grow your business! If you are interested in any of these services and how the flat fee pricing structure is incorporated, please keep reading.

A description of our bookkeeping services at J Ricketts Bookkeeping
  1. Quickbooks Online Setup

This is a one-time service that is typically added on to a cleanup or monthly service. If you do not already have Quickbooks Online, or QBO, account, I will set you up with a discounted subscription and set up your account for you. This involves customizing your chart of accounts to your business’s specific needs, connecting bank feeds, and inputting your settings accordingly. Once you QBO account is setup, you are free and clear to start working on your books knowing that you have a solid starting point.

If you are needing this service in order to start outsourcing you monthly bookkeeping, this will be a one-time $50 add on fee to your first month’s invoice.

  2. Quickbooks Online Cleanup

The QBO cleanup service is a very popular service that helps the small business that got behind on their books. We’ve all been there! I will cleanup your QBO account year-to-date (or through whichever date you need). Many clients use this as a year-end service, but most of the cleanup services that are done require a YTD cleanup before starting monthly bookkeeping services. If you are wanting monthly bookkeeping after your cleanup is done, the cleanup service charge is a one-time fee that is incorporated into you first monthly invoice.

We currently charge $200 per month of cleanup. This service includes allocating transactions, reconciling accounts, cleaning up the accounts payable and receivable (if necessary), cleaning up the chart of accounts and a year-to-date balance sheet and income statement. This service typically has a 2 week turn around time.

  3. Monthly Bookkeeping

This service is by far the service that most small business owners are looking for the most. This service is for the small business owner that wants to scale and grow their business by making educated financial decisions using their financial statements as the main tool. If that is you, I would definitely consider hitting the button below!

Outsourcing monthly bookkeeping is the ideal way to run the “business side” of your business - you have the other side to work on! This service includes allocating transactions on a weekly basis, reconciling accounts at month-end, managing accounts payable and receivable (if necessary), and a monthly review of your books. Before the 15th of the succeeding month, you will receive your balance sheet and income statement for the month. At year-end, a year-end review and a 1099 review is included in your monthly service. Our monthly bookkeeping service is invoiced at $300 at the beginning of the month for work to be performed.
